The Security Industry Authority (SIA) of the United Kingdom (UK) currently requires a "Level 3 Certificate for Working as a Close Protection Operative within the Private Security Industry" which is comprised of the following modules:
- Principles of Working as a Close Protection Operative in the Private Security Industry
- Working as a Close Protection Operative in the Private Security Industry
- Application of Conflict Management in the Private Security Industry
- Principles of Terror Threat Awareness in the Private Security Industry
- Knowledge of Door Supervision Responsibilities for Close Protection Operatives
- Application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry (Close Protection)
- Application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry
Ronin SA delivers the first three modules but has elected not to provide Modules 4 - 7 for the following reasons:
- Door supervision modules unnecessarily lengthen an already long & costly course
- Our Close Protection physical intervention syllabus (which we have provided over the last 22 years) is more globally relevant than the non-pain compliant SIA CP Physical Intervention module, which may be more relevant to the UK
As such, the decision was made to partner with C2C Training (Derby, UK), a Highfield accredited Centre (Centre No 13676) who will, over a 4 day period:
- Deliver Modules 4 - 7
- Complete examinations (Modules 1 - 7)
Ronin SA, upon successfull graduation, will PAY for all initial C2C tuition and examination fees (excluding accommodation / travel) on your behalf.
