Practice Placement via Ronin's Approved Placement Providers Should you wish to complete your FREC5 Diploma, your 60-shift practical rotation can be completed through our Practical Placement partners in Mexico, Zimbabwe and United Kingdom with whom we have Memorandums of Understanding. This is for your arrangement and account after successfully completing the Course. Practice Placement via your Own Arrangement Alternatively, you are welcome to arrange your own placement anywhere in the world. Should you wish to complete your Practical Placement with any other organisation other than our approved services, then this will require Qualsafe Approval which can be applied for via us. We will require names and contact numbers for the organisation, confirmation of their regulated status as a Hospital / Frontline Ambulance Service as well the Mentor's credentials and undertaking of oversight. Settings where Practical Placements can be undertaken include:- - State regulated Emergency front-line ambulance / response vehicle - up to 60 of your 60 shifts (a minimum of 34 shifts / 400 hours are compulsory) - In-hospital emergency department - up to 4 of your 60 shifts - GP Practice, Out of hours unscheduled care or walk in centres - up to 16 of your 60 shifts - Specialist Services (Obstetrics, Theatres, Coronary Care, End-of-Life or Frailty) - up to 8 of your 60 shifts Please Note: Due to the fact that your qualifications will be of UK origin, the South African Health Professions Council does not permit your practical training phase to be conducted in South Africa |
