Visa requirements for South Africa depend entirely on the passport you hold and your nationality. Some nationalities can enter South Africa visa-free for short stays, while others require a visa in advance.

How do I check if I need a visa?

The official and most reliable source is the South African Department of Home Affairs. Please check the current list of exempt countries here:  https://www.dha.gov.za/index.php/immigration-services/exempt-countries

This page will tell you whether your nationality qualifies for visa-free entry and the maximum number of days allowed.

If your country is on the exempt list, you can enter visa-free and still attend the full course under normal tourist entry conditions.

What if my country is not visa-exempt?

You must apply for a Visitor’s Visa (Tourist Visa) at the South African embassy, high commission, or consulate in your country of residence before travelling and with sufficient lead time - depending on the embassy, a minimum of 3 months is required.

Kindly take note that we only provide supporting documentation to candidates who have secured their spot via deposit.

Please note that a Study Visa is NOT required as your course will be less than 3 months in duration - a visitor's visa is sufficient

If you are unsure about your specific nationality, we recommend contacting the nearest South African diplomatic mission or checking the official DHA website directly.
